Veedional… wird bei uns großgeschrieben.
Wir beziehen die meisten unserer Produkte aus Köln selbst oder der unmittelbaren Region. Die Brotsorten, mit denen wir unsere Brotkörbe füllen, werden von der Bäckerei Wiens in Köln Nippes gebacken. Unser Bäcker backt für uns auch kurzfristig Brot nach Bedarf, welches wir auch für unseren Armen Ritter verwenden und stellen so sicher, dass wir kein Brot wegwerfen. Denn ein großes Anliegen von uns ist es, Lebensmittelverschwendung vorzubeugen.
Aus der Region klingelt der Millianshof aus Bergheim regelmäßig bei uns und kommt mit Landeiern und leckerem Bauernkäse vorbei.
Aus Frechen bekommen wir den Sirup von Black Sense, den wir für unsere Chai Getränke verwenden.
Manchmal mögen wir es auch noch näher, dann wird’s veedional:
- Unseren Kaffee kaufen wir bei den zauberhaften Kaffeeprinzen
- Den Tee im Teeladen am Chlodwigplatz
- Honig produzieren für uns die fleißigen Südstadtbienen von Bienwerk
- Mit Wein und Sekt versorgen uns unsere Nachbarn von Zwölfgrad Sekt & Weinam Martin-Luther-Platz
Bei uns freut Ihr Euch auf Hausgemachtes
Wir lieben es, unsere Produkte nach unseren Vorstellungen auf besondere Weise weiterzuverarbeiten. Unseren Fruchtaufstrich kochen wir aus frischen, saisonalen Früchten. Für die erfrischenden Citrus-Limonaden pressen wir Saft aus und stellen Sirup her. Besonders beliebt ist immer die Sorte „Zitrone-Minze“, wie auch der hausgemachte Eistee in der Sorte „Rote Früchte“.
Alle Dips, Salate, Suppen sowie Toppings und Füllungen für die Armen Ritter werden nach wohlüberlegten Rezepten mit saisonalen Zutaten zubereitet.
Natürlich sind auch alle Kuchen und die Waffeln aus eigener Herstellung!
